Remedy HealthCare Announcement

Following unsuccessful negotiations, Police Health has made the decision not to renew our contract with Remedy HealthCare, a hospital in the home service provider.  

Our existing contract will terminate effective from midnight, Tuesday 27 October 2026. 

What this means for our members 

Remedy HealthCare's service will no longer be claimable by members, effective from the above date. 

Rest assured, other well established ‘hospital in the home’ providers are still available  through Police Health cover, and you can speak to your treating doctor about the best option for your circumstances.  

Please note that the following transitional arrangements apply; 

• If you've already started treatment before the termination date, your treatment will continue to be covered under our existing agreement until it's complete.
• If you book treatment before the termination date, to start within six months after the termination date, it will also be covered under our existing agreement until your treatment is complete.
• For current ongoing treatment, cover will continue until your treatment is complete or for six months after the termination date, whichever comes first.
