Call the PassportCard team or message via WhatsApp any time for a quick solution. If your claim is approved, funds are instantly transferred to the PassportCard. 

Medical issue overseas

Need a doctor? In pain and not sure what to do? PassportCard’s 24/7 Global Assistance team can direct you to the nearest pharmacy, hospital or doctor and load the PassportCard with funds to cover your medical costs. 

Delayed luggage

When your luggage isn’t where you are, it’s hard to begin your holiday. The team can add up to $250 to the PassportCard to buy emergency essentials.

Stolen cash

No cash, no holiday! PassportCard can put up to $500 on the card to help you until you work out details with your bank.

Suspend your health cover while overseas*

Eligible Police Health members can suspend their cover while travelling overseas, provided the application is made prior to the date of departure.
 
Your cover will then resume on your nominated return date, giving you that peace of mind when you're back home.
 
The minimum period of suspension is 14 days, the maximum period of suspension is two years and the minimum period between suspensions is four months, unless we agree otherwise.
